It reminds me of some low integrity Quality Engineer tricks for supplier mgmt and inventory reduction all filed under the heading of "Inspect to Reject."
There's all sorts of games played by some low integrity companies. In order for buyers to reduce excess parts/raw material inventory they'll dig into previously accepted inventory to find cause for rejecting perfectly good material in order to get RMA's and terminate previously committed orders. By hook or by correct they've got to get that material off the books for qtrly or annual financial reports.

The cops show up without a valid search warrant based on good articulable probable cause from actual sources, not "someone" making batshit assertions, and the potential for dead cops is going to be 100%.I'm also betting the law doesn't survive 4 seconds in court, the first time they try it.

There's a way to stop such abuses. Everyone, from the cops who did the investigation to the judge who signed the warrant to the SWAT team that made the raid, upon finding absolutely no cause for the raid to have gone forth, should be dragged to the nearest lamp post and hanged, there bodies left for the crows as a warning to the others.

Then again, I think any violation of the public trust by any public employee or elected official, at any level, should be so.punished.

Pretty sure it's a stab at Kansas having the capacity to be affluent or sophisticated.

I just read a good portion of the new law and it does not seem all that different from the long standing FL law that is known as the Baker Act in what it takes to actually get it done...

Anyone's going to have a tough job selling the KC area as "cosmopolitan".
Affluent? Fine.
Middle America? Sure.
Salt of the earth folks? Certainly.
But cosmopolitan? Only compared to Little Rock, Tulsa, or Topeka. Or maybe Bakersfield.
