They all think that iinitially. The electorate, however, is prone to disabuse their ambitions.

At best, he'll be the next Ah-Nuld or Ventura.

I don't know about his politics, but a good head of hair and a good voice plus face recognition could carry him a long way.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Unlikely. Clooney didn't appear in Predator.skb12172 wrote:At best, he'll be the next Ah-Nuld or Ventura.
'Regulate' used to mean the opposite of 'constipate.'

Re: George Clooney: the next Reagan?
much more interesting news is that Rick Perry is thinking about moving to CA after his term is up in TX. He already spends a lot of time out here in San Dog (along with Romney).
Perry for Gov? In California?
Now that would be fun to watch.

Sounds like the Commiefornia Hollywierd-approved candidate to run the state and keep driving us deeper and deeper into Detroit-land!!evan price wrote:LibProg, anti 2a, save the earth from global warmerizing, etc.Weetabix wrote:I don't know about his politics, but a good head of hair and a good voice plus face recognition could carry him a long way.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON
A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.
I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

Has anyone ever served as Governor of more than one state? Interesting...blackeagle603 wrote:much more interesting news is that Rick Perry is thinking about moving to CA after his term is up in TX. He already spends a lot of time out here in San Dog (along with Romney).

Seriously, I think Perry could make it happen. Lot of Californios have Texas envy and would love to unleash him on Sacramento. A lot of CA is basically like TX culturally and business-wise (think Bakersfield, Fresno, Central Valley, NorState, Western slope of the Sierra).
