City Council Sets New World Record For Human Stupidity

Apparently all the other problems having been solved there, the city council of Carson has decided to solve the problem of having the First Amendment:

The Carson City Council gave preliminary approval this week to an ordinance that would target anyone from kindergarten to age 25 who makes another person feel "terrorized, frightened, intimidated, threatened, harassed or molested" with no legitimate purpose.

Because heaven knows, the function of the government is to keep anyone from feeling icky because someone else called them names.
Especially if they're that tender age under 25.

If the Navy needs a place to practice Trident launches this week, Carson would make a pretty worthless spot of real estate to make sure the warhead on a D-5 still works.

Otherwise, the first minor they cite under this law is going to Stanford Medical School, paid for in full by the happy taxpayers of Carson.

But a least they've succeeded in once again making Carson the funniest thing on late night for the next few weeks.
