Has the GC gone a bit wonky?

Post by Rich »

One of my earlier threads, the one about "2012 Election Blues" reappeared today with a new entry by Nicodemus. When I went to read his entry, I found it was one he posted back in 2008. Could he have replied to another thread and this entry updated also?

Minor glitch.

My computer says that Nicodemus posted on Sunday, May 9 2010
I see that he joined in 2008

Now, The last entry is Aglifter's, and the thread indicates today's date, but when you go into it to read that last entry, the date is in August 2008.

There is no new entry to that thread, but the board is indicating a new entry exists,

Looks like something may be a little strange in the indexing (just a guess, of course).

Log out and log back in, works fine for me

I did better than that, I fired Junior up and got the same results. Different computer, different OS (Linux Mint 8 versus Ubuntu 9.10), and different browser (Opera versus FireFox). Don't know what else I can do to help nail this down. It's not really bothersome, it just shouldn't be.

It is showing an updated post when there isn't one, and it appears to be in the board's software. :?

Okay, It must be me.

Weird stuff happens now and again, and I've learned not to be too upset when it does.
