With apologies to PawPaw...
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

No apology necessary. I saw that earlier today on a retired Trooper's facebook page.

Whatever else they may not have, apparently they have a sense of humor.

This joke fails to consider Troops A, B, and L.
Funny note- I'm shooting with a certain member of Troop L who also happens to be an ACE recipient (5 stolen vehicles recovered) and later on, I'm told, a Blue Max recipient (most stolen cars recovered in LSP that year.) He does this Captain Kirk tuck and roll bullshit, comes up in a crouched position and starts firing when the magazine drops free. We gave him grief for that one for a good while. It was funny, but not nearly as "funny" as when he drove to work with his sidearm on top of his vehicle...

...sigh... the rolll was meant as a test of holster retention, and, well, because IPSC was full of young lunatics in the early days (Its fun now, but back when you had to jump fences, crawl under barriers, bounce bullets off plates, etc... )
