Latin question

Post by Cybrludite »

Given the push to reinstate the so-called "fairness" doctrine, how do you say, "I will not be silenced!" in Latin? Also, how do you say "Sign!" (As might have been said on the banks of the Runnymede, if you follow me...) in Latin?

According to an online latin translator: "Ego mos non exsisto silentium"
"Sign!" would be "Subscribo!" I think, or possibly "Subscribo is" for "sign this"

that is pretty close... i would have to dig out my old text books to be sure...

i would worry about getting an accurate translation of "i will not be"... it isnt exactly proper grammar and i would worry that it wouldnt translate properly... might be better off with "we will not quiet" or "he shall not remain silent"
