I've lived in both of the cities in Nebraska that they listed, and I wouldn't move back there for a clear title to the whole gorram state. Council Bluffs, IA is only marginally better. I've lived in a number of third-world shitholes in my life, but I've never seen anywhere that the government was as good as Nebraska's when it comes to shaving a slice off of every nickle that goes by. When I moved to Iowa, I had a nicer (more expensive) house, with more land, and my property taxes were 1/3 of what they were in LaVista, NE.

I go back to visit friends and family. Would NOT. EVER. live there!

One block away from the boardwalk is a war zone in AC. Hell, I don't even go to the boardwalk anymore. On the rare occasion I hit AC anymore, I'll stay in the Harbor area.

Just ate dinner in Newark last week. But yeah, most of it is an absolute shithole.

Where money lives.
Not in my pockets
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

You said shithole...
You derogated part of the People's Utopia of California...
Anything ending in "Park" is a manifestation of some kind of heinous {insert something I'm axiomatically against} privilege...
You're holding a womyn in bondage through the patriarchal construct of marriage...
{hits head vigorously}
No, wait...
Never mind. I'm OK.
