I've never actually heard the song this is a parody of, or previously heard of the singer... I just thought the video was impressive enough to pass along.

That's actually not the original, that's the video.
The original is in the movie.
Here she is doing it on Letterman, proving she can do it in one take.
I think it looses something in the video, I think it's better without any instruments except the cup.

I saw it first done by a young girl in an audition for a German TV show.
