Prelude To Axanar-Star Trek Fan Film

Post by Darrell »

This is really cool! Prelude To Axanar, a "fan film" of Star Trek, concerning the first Klingon/Federation war:

They are crowdsourcing an attempt to raise funds to do a complete movie about Axanar. This is part of the deal with Paramount trying to quash the whole ST fan film phenomenon. Prelude To Axanar has some recognizable faces from past ST shows. This is what ST should have been all along. Found via Insty.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Yea, it figures that the studios are trying to stop it. The last TNG movie was so bad, Jar-Jar Abrams had to "reboot" it. I hope their lawyers have a field day and kick the studio's butts all the way back to Qo'nos.

I've heard of these fan fic movies. What are the best ones?
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.
