The rephrase the Bard game.

Post by toad »

Over at Instapundit he had this link:

The thrust of it was how a line from "Hamlet" applied to Hillary. In the comments section lines from other plays were rephrased to be applicable. It strikes me that politics of the day is a current target rich environment for a rephrase the Bard game.
"..Full of sound and fury and signifying nothing, a typical Social Justice Warrior."
"..If I were bound in a nutshell I would still count myself as a king of infinite space if I didn't think the government would take over my Internet Service Provider."
"Out damn spot and take Bo with you." From the " Portuguese Sonnets ."

"Neither a borrower or a lender be, for loan oft loses both itself and credit rating, and borrowing sharpeneth edge of federalism."
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

"Soft! What light through yonder window breaks! 'Tis the- sweet Lord, 'tis Lena Dunham without clothes! Hot pokers! I need hot pokers to destroy the eyes which have beheld such fleshly oblivion and to dash out the brains which now know far too much!"
Remember, folks, you can't spell "douche" without "Che."

"Alas, poor Vince Foster, we knew him well, many was the time he bore Hillary heavily upon his back in the Courtrooms, and now 'tis such that a Special Prosecutor should be appointed!!"

"The former First Lady doth protest too much, methinks."

"Our elections now are ended. These our politicians' promises,
As I foretold you, were all spirits, and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And like the baseless fabric of this vision,
shall dissolve."

"Shrillary's but a walking harridan, a poor player, that struts and frets her lies upon the stage, and then is heard too much; it is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying corruption."

Man, this is EASY.
