I was trying to come up with something funny to say about it, but can't find anything funnier than the story itself.

The unspoken is "we hate Russian oligrachs, Saudi oil money, and Texas twats investing in property here, but we're too big a bunch of pussies to actually go after these people because we know they have armed security. Ergo, we're attacking soft targets cuz we know we won't be ventilated."

That's why it sucks to be a subject. You can't defend yourself because the Crown has decided there is no right to self-defense. It basically says "attack with impunity; we'll catch the guys defending themselves long before we catch the attackers."
