I've discovered a great TV show on DVD: Firefly!

Just kidding. I've been meaning to get this for years and I finally got around to it.

I've watched the first (two?) episode on the disc - Serenity and The Train Job. I'm already deeply saddened that they didn't make 7 or 8 seasons of this show.

I may need the soundtrack, too.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

If you haven't seen Serenity, The Movie, don't until you've watched all the episodes of the show.

...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Good luck on it ever coming back. Joss seems to have moved onto comic books /S.H.I.E.L.D. and I doubt Nathan Fillion and a shit-ton of fans are ever going to raise the amount Joss would be asking for the rights to Firefly/Serenity.

Because he let Firefly be on FOX, and FOX fox'd up everything when they were airing it, including pre-empting the show for football, showing episodes out of order, etc.

They did the same to Family Guy, only FG was ressurected because of good numbers in DVD sales. Firefly/Serenity has done good in sales, but not as good as FG.
