I've always fancied Intrepid, Dauntless, and Invincible. As has been said, the British naming convention gives names with a serious ring to them.

I think they should be named after MOH winners, starting with

U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt, and finishing with U.S.S. Michael Monsoor.
