Cute little 5 axis machine

Post by BDK »

I'm guessing it's for milling castings for jewelers? They would love it, can't think of who else would really need one.

Depends on the travel, there is call for plenty of small parts.

I have heard of dentists making crowns right in the office.

there is a very small, very expensive CNC machine for that, with proprietary software, and materials.

You really don't want to know what the complete setup costs. What has happened is they've started to make smaller cheaper ones than those used in dental laboratories, and are aimed at large $$ dental practices.
HTRN, I would tell you that you are an evil fucker, but you probably get that a lot ~ Netpackrat
