Travelin' Man - Columbia, MS

Post by Weetabix »

I'll be in Columbia, MS next week if anyone is thereabouts and available for dinner or coffee some time.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Monday evening to Friday morning. Let me look at a map. NO may not be too far out of the way for the return trip. I'm driving.

MS and lower Louisiana are lovely country. I met up with Cybrludite in Metairie for dinner. He's a gentleman and a scholar, and I approve his choice of restaurants.

Wicked weather was coming in Friday night/Saturday, so I followed Monty Python's advice and ran away.

Notes:
Lake Pontchartrain takes a while to drive across.
Never follow GPS to the French Quarter on Friday evening at 5 during a festival.
Meyer the Hatter is as excellent as I remembered.
