Most common first names: James, John, Robert, Michael, William, David (I'd strike John to avoid cliches)
Most common surnames: Smith, Johnson, Williams, Jones, Brown, Davis (I'd strike Smith and Jones to avoid cliches)
James Johnson? Robert Brown? Problem there might be that you'd turn up false on a NICS check.
Less common firsts? Wade, Kent, Seth, Kirk?
Less common lasts? Whitley, Cooke, Buckner, Knowles, Boyle?
So, Wade Cooke? Seth Buckner? Kirk Boyle? Beef Jerky? Nah. Too Beverly Hillbillies.
Make sure you google them first to be sure you're not choosing some obscure serial killer name.

When working for a savings and loan i had customers Robert Louis Stevenson, Liberty Arnold, and a Mary-Davida something-or-other who was allegedly Bob Hope's god daughter. At the library when I worked there, a co-worker was Ed Fischer, and a patron was Kitty Litter. In the Boy Scouts I knew a Dieter Campbell. Obviously mom named him.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
