Sorry as I can express for your loss of Orion. Otto, purebred German Shepherd, born 12-04-1950 (exact same as me) and his son Rolfe (1961) left a hole in me years ago that has never been filled. We grew up together. I've never had another dog, but I've loved the ones I've been lucky enough to have had as close friends in the family.
I'm not old--It's too early to be this late.

Sorry to hear about your buddy. Mrs. NPR brought home another rescue cat a couple weeks ago after a few years of no pets, so we've signed up for another round. Hopefully it will be a long time before payment comes due again.
