Saying goodbye

Post by Denis »

The hospice care people have indicated that my mother has only a day or two to live, after many year of Alzheimer's. I am leaving for the airport now to go and say goodbye. If those of you who are so inclined would remember her in your prayers, I'd appreciate it.

My father had that plus cerebral hemorrhages, and passed 26 years ago.
My deepest condolences, and we're here to talk about the burdens and help how we can.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .

Sincere condolences. We are probably heading towards where you are (not geographically) in the not too distant future. May she rest in peace.
