yep, hard to beat envelopes for simplicity and visual cues. Not much math or number crunching upkeep required there. I'd do better if we got back to it, been in a time of abundance and gotten a little loosie goosie with spending.
That and allotments direct from paycheck for savings -- outta sight, outta mind.
