HS, look at something called a sand rail - some friends used to build them out of the wreckage of some rice bikes

OK what they called a sand rail was a go kart w some taller wheels - apparently it's also some kind of buggy

Yeah. Out here, a rail is a tube-body rig with a hopped up aircooled VW plant and paddle tires.

Off road buggies are popular here. Hellish expensive though and it would be a lot of fucking around to build one. You couldn't road register it after all your effort, there's no way to do that for a one-off vehicle.

I like the idea of a kart, due to the simplicity, lack of suspension etc. My back and particularly my neck aren't liking karts today though, I hurt. Mostly down to lack of muscle tone I think.
