New Women Shooters

We had our latest Women on Target program this past Sunday at my local range. Let me tell you, these classes are filling up FAST in advance too! The women are really starting to enjoy coming out and shooting.

Unfortunately, we're limited to 30 women at a time simply because our range isn't large enough to safely handle more. One of the really great things about teaching new shooters, particularly women, is they'll actually LISTEN to their coaches and even the first time out many do quite well!

Check out this 50 yard, .22 target:

Here's one standing by her targets after firing BORROWED guns (having NEVER shot before) and punching some pretty respectable targets using a .40 S&W and .38 SPL revolver (IIRC, she did better with the auto):

And of course, you know women, they ALWAYS try and dress for the occasion (those are NOT the same legs as the woman picture above, they are attached to a bleach-blond):

The several classes I've now helped instruct would be a gold mine if I was single. If you guys want female companionship who aren't afraid of guns and want to learn more, these programs helping women take care of themselves could help you find a woman compatible with your views - someone who's not been poisoned by the current culture and understand freedom is worth fighting for.

I ought to teach some more formally. Miss G&T can come and make them feel comfortable.

I've been waiting for the photos to show up online at my gun club's website, but for some reason they're not getting up there. Between all the women shooting and the various guns being fired (handguns, rifles and shotguns), I took a couple hundred photos.

Here's something I don't see very much at the range - fingernails of that length, especially the fancy one at the bottom:

Black leather over calf boots.
4" Spike heels.

Go figure. Sarah Palin came all that way and bleached her hair too? What were she and Todd shooting?

might want to warn them to wear shirts with high collars... watching a woman do the hot brass dance with their hand down the front of their shirt is quite entertaining... but i am sure it hurts something fierce.

As most of you know, a man can recommend what to wear to a woman, but SHE will ultimately decide for herself depending on what she thinks makes her look good AND keep brass out of the shirt (not trip in holes, heels catch between pieces of flooring, etc.).

When I help with WoT(2000 miles away from this one), that's something that is discussed, and I bring it up in every permit to carry class I teach.

If you're an NRA certified instructor, or even just a highly experienced shooter(depending on the club hosting) I highly recommend helping out with a WoT event. It's a day incredibly well spent.

And it's fun.

Yes it is, and you'd be surprised at just how well they do - FREQUENTLY outshooting the men in other classes.
