They obviously don't study history. They specifically exempted the M-1 Garand and the M1-Carbine; two weapons used in large numbers to defeat a National Socialist regime.

If Ryan had any sense, he would bring this bill to a vote.

Re: US puts 522% tarrif on Chinese cold roll steel

That depends on whether we're smart or stupid about it. If we're smart, countries without tarrifs are selling use first-world steel that meets standards, and buying cheap China shit for themselves. If we're dumbasses, then yes, we get boned with crap steel and pay for the privilege. Letting middlem...

Re: US puts 522% tarrif on Chinese cold roll steel

The tariff was announced earlier in the year and US Steel's stock price just about tripled. After last week's announcement that China was going to raise production, the price of the stock fell about 7 bucks in a few days time. The tariff on China just causes them to sell to other countries, who in t...

At last count I had over 12K of .22LR on hand. If the local Academy has CCI standard or mini-mag available I buy the limit of 500 rounds. Guestimates on .308ACP: 500 rounds. 30 carbine: 750 rounds of and I plan to buy more. 7.5 Swiss (my one "odd ball round"): 500 30.06: 2K rounds and I pl...

With respect to the Garands, I bought ones that have receiver dates from WWII. Since they killed Nazis in 30.06, they will stay in 30.06, just like John C. Garand intended McArthur demanded. Prvi Partizan makes new 30.06 ammo in the M2 ball configuration for about $0.75 a round, so I am good in the ...

Because terminations require a clear chain of events. Kroger is unionized (UFCW).
