Ha-ha-but-not-really. Can you not lift the seat with your foot? Because, you see, you are the problem. Everyone too squeamish to sit on something that's been sanitized hourly and hovers, or doesn't lift the seat, or can't be bothered to learn local customs, or otherwise refuses to properly utilize ...

Obviously some on this forum have no idea how explosive the urge to defecate can get. I've had to shit so bad at times it occured while I was bending on the way to sitting. Pretty much explosive and uncontrollable and far reaching. At least I was civilized enough to either clean up after myself, or...

I propose that the illustrious Councilman then take it upon himself to clear the piss and shit off the sidewalks in a non-racially-insensitive manner (no hoses allowed of course). Perhaps a shovel and mop? Or would the Councilman prefer a spoon?

Now that I've picked up a side job to finance my other activities at (REDACTED), I have to say I wouldn't put this sort of thing past the average American if we still let people enter planes via anything but a weird steerable tube. Popes, like other world leaders (and the Pope IS a world leader) go in cycles. Benedict was a seriously Conservative Pope, followed by a seriously Liberal one (how Liberal? He'd make a good Episcopalian). The Roman Catholic church has had good Popes and bad ones, it has to because Popes are chosen f...

I get the sentimental value of the coins too, I have a Morgan (IIRC, haven't looked at it in years) in my jewelry box that my father wore on a belt buckle, and before that it was taped to my belly as a newborn to hold my navel in (seriously, you can still see where the tape was). Silver has effecti...

My Grandparents used to give us silver dollars as Christmas and Birthday presents. Sometimes one, sometimes as many as 10. It all depended on how the year was going. I still have them all. I lean towards Morgans, though I did end up with a lot of Peace Dollars. When I had a coin shop nearby, occasi...

Attention Would-be Coin Collectors

My father-in-law (now in probably the middle stages of Alzheimer's) collected coins for decades, mostly from his pocket change but he also had some stuff he bought in the expectation that "it would be worth something someday". My mother-in-law asked my wife and I to liquidate it, so after ...
