Re: Options to think about.
I'm not looking for an Unlimited Class Benchrest rifle here. This is a stock Rem 700 variant of a PSS that I just wanted to make some upgrades to. I was fully expecting that this would come in around $1500-ish going by my research. We're coming into the end of long range season at my range out here ...

I had posted back in the Ye Olde Rifle thread about an Aero M5 lower I picked up on sale recently. For those that don't know, Aero does a daily item of 10-15% off if you're on their mailing list, along with other specials. I'd figured on a long, slow build to a 6.5 Creedmoor using this method. I als...

I have many, though I haven't done any builds on them.
The last 3 lowers I bought were Aero and I have no complaints at all. If you're just looking to put away some "Poverty Ponies" for a rainy day, go for it. If you're building something you want to use, get Aero's.

I've officially outgrown my safe. You know it's tight when you're alternating rifles upright and upside down and separating AR's so they fit into smaller spaces.
Guess I know what a chunk of this years refund is going to.

There is something called 45 VRAP. Don't know anything about it, just stumbled on it the other day.
ETA-Nevermind. It apparently runs on an AR-10 lower.

I've only used their parts for one build, but found them to be superior to Wilson and far more economical. Doesn't hurt they've installed the sights, staked the plunger tube and installed the ejector either. That save a bit of time and $$$ on tooling.

FWIW, that piece of shit cop was charged, but the police investigated the police and found the police did nothing wrong. The "Youre Fucked" dustcover was thrown out and not considered by the jury. The video was gagged until the trial was over so public opinion would be minimized. The judge...

I'm unhappy about losing a $2500 deduction every year. I hope the increased individual exemption will offset that loss, but it makes the increase for the individual exemption much less effective in my case. This bill is also extremely unfriendly to anyone still trying to get an education. A friend ...

So glad that I moved to the east side in WA. There's some of this in the cities like Spokane, but nowhere near like what Seattle and Portland have. Outside of the cities here isn't much but bitter cold in the winter, hotter than Seattle summers, and a hard day of work in an orchard. It's tough to pa...

I'd start researching Aero M5E1, Sig 716, and Mega. Aero is certainly the more budget conscious of those, but I love everything by them that I have. Their cosmetic options are really limited, but I feel the product is solid. Much more so than PSA and for not terribly more money. They also make 6.5C ...

DSA Voyagers are priced into the PTR 91 range right now. I have a Saiga .308 I picked up when they were a new thing. It's fun enough, but the installed sights only go to 300, so an optic for some long range fun is necessary and right now they probably fall into the same price range as the other two...

Saw it happening. The dam I work at is not too far down the road. I opened up Flightradar24 and determined that it either had to be the .mil or Boeing on a test flight (they fly a lot of stuff around Moses Lake).

I think it would be worthwhile to prevent ad revenue from landing in the news agencies coffers over these stories. This constant coverage and the bloodthirsty salivating over these stories is causing these shitheads to think they can get the newest high score and be famous.

Their story is completely unraveling. Battering attacks by 30' Tiger Sharks, only wanting to use the EPIRB for "life threatening" situations, not making landfall two times because their hull was too deep to make the harbor, storms that didn't exist, and a lot of other bull. In addition to ...
