Zoë's five and a half, and I think that it's time for her to get a pellet rifle for Christmas. Our house backs up to a lake, so we've got a more or less ideal setup for an at home range.

I'll appreciate input and "lessons learned" from the crowd as to what model will be best.

The number of times I've had to try to dissuade parents wanting a...

Re: Two 17 Year Olds Face Sexting Charges

Never mind that this is production, distribution, and possession of child pornography, which is ALSO a federal offense, on top of any state-level actions.

Weet: consult with a competent business attorney. There are three words that W2B do not EVER want to have uttered in the same sentence: minority shareholder lawsuit. Based on what you've described, they've been failing in their duty to the shareholders, which include you.

Where's Bobby?

Since the new gig has a "significant" travel component, I'll be all over the place. With that in mind, I'll keep a running tally of my travel schedule in case anyone is bored and wants to grab a beer while I'm in town. Boston, MA - NOW to July 24th Las Vegas, NV - August 4th to August 10th...

Updatey things

Among other changes, (that shan't be mentioned), I've got a couple of big changes life-wise recently: Item the First: I'm engaged, and this one most decidedly isn't crazy. Item the Second: I've got a new gig, with Core Security Technologies. Shocking that I've found work that actually matches my ski...

I get greater entertainment value out of the forum than the renewal cost on the domains. *shrug*

Once CC gets the entity setup, it all gets shifted to that.

Domain Renewal(s)

Just a heads up, since the various domains are up for renewal at the end of this month, that I'll be renewing them for a year later today. No action required on anyone's part. Just FYI.

Burn this to a CD http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

Boot.

It'll let you overwrite the administrator user's password hash with one of your choosing (by default, blank). So long as there aren't any encrypted files on the machine that are tied to the login credential, you're good to go.

The universe isn't done, but the arc of the main characters (Steve, Faith, and Sophia) has closed. At least until the Muse demands that Ringo write more :)
