Re: Cost of Living on the Coasts

Something that the article did no mention is that the California's tax base is now almost entirely in Hollywood and these tech giants up north. The middle class has been leaving in droves, and has been replaced by immigrants, legal or otherwise, who end up being paid much less. Eventually the tech b...

Given his comments with regard to the victims of the Oso mudslide, it would be fitting if he were living in the flood plain below a dam. That's some really generic advice, and pretty much what anyone has the right to do if the police come to the door. The bit about sliding the warrant under the door is silly though. At that point they are just going to take the door down.

I can't imagine that the Army would just start issuing full modular kits to everyone who gets issued a handgun. More than likely they will be issued single gun in one of the two or three configurations available and that's how it will stay. The benefit here isn't end user customization, but rather h...

The ammo thing will never survive the courts. The 9th circuit has already struck down less restrictive restrictions recently. That's why this was a proposition and not a law passed by the legislature, the legislature knows this will loose in court.

Don't trade. Buy the G19. Sell the SCCY separately if at all legal. You'll do better financially. This should be a general rule with all firearms purchases. When I hear someone say they want to "trade in" I automatically think of a private sale funding their new purchase, not letting a gu...
