Thats knife fighting range for a 308. I would suggest the Redfield tactical 3-9 as its cheap, and halfway decent, and for what you want it for, spending more is kinda wasted - 250 yards is basically point blank range with s 308.

And the Kurds need their own country. Yes. Yes, they do. Theres a bunch of geopolitical reasons why this will never happen, not the least of which is the hypothetical Kurdistan would probably occupy what is now south eastern Turkey, and northwestern Iran, both of whom are loathe to give up territor...

I thought the days of Sunoco blue being available at the pump outside of stations around tracks were long gone...

Apparently not - just found a station on rte 18 just outside sayreville that sells "260gt"(100 octane) just outside Sayreville.

Now to find some E85..

The 30 ar, which is based on the 450bushmaster, holds 44 grains of water.

The problem is rim diameter if its too large, it can weaken the bolt, reducing max pressure limits.

Something based on the 50 beowulf would probably be the way to go..

Hhhhheeeeeeyyyy, waitaminute. What about necking one of the larger cases meant for an AR15 down to 6 or 6.5? Something that can drive a Berger 105 hybrid at better than 2500 feet/sec?

I was informed yesterday during lunch in the company cafeteria that E Town is shutting down the dragstrip, due to rising costs, noise complaints and declining revenues. The summernationals are no more. :( A house that i had previously given up on is back on the market, gonna take a look next weekend.

The LED is soldered in there with no identifying marks... de-soldering is easy enough. Finding a proper replacement is going to be tough. Not really, measure the existing one to find a physical match, and pick something in the 250-500 milliwatt range. If you pick too low and it burns out, you simpl...

I am annoyed by consumer electronics that are still usable except for one minor part. Case in point: my emergency radio. It's a Grundig FR-200. I can't find a replacement for the emergency light. Sure, I have tons of other emergency lights and lanterns around the house for tornado season, but that'...
