Long story short, I wound up north of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Sky was crystal clear. The eclipse was glorious, beyond words. No picture, no video can really convey what it's like seeing it in person. Re: Insight into the Left's ideas on speech

Didn't the whole '60s mess start with the "Free Speech" movement at Berkeley back around 1965?

I very much enjoyed seeing the leftist skank hairy porn dreadlocks "woman" getting punched in the face at Berkeley yesterday, btw.

Re: School me on AR-15 Rifles

If it's a range gun, for use by anybody and everybody, I'd go KISS on any sights setup--keep the Magpul BUIS, or go with a metal rear sight, and maybe a durable red dot. Can you import Aimpoints or such from your usual US sources, or are they ITAR items?

or one of the "tactical" 1-4x or 1-6x scopes. I have been suitably impressed w. my Vortex Strike Eagle. At 1x, it is reasonably fast to acquire close targets. At 6x, the eye relief isn't the greatest, but it is very clear. Now, if I were a door-kicker(which I ain't), I would want a larger...

Re: School me on AR-15 Rifles

If you are going to scope the rifle, you don't want an A2 detachable handle/sight. Your chin would have to be on top of the stock to get a good scope picture. If you are going to go w. a red-dot type, you can leave the front sight and either lower 1/3 or absolute co-witness w. the irons. I prefer l...

I've always wondered if Project Thor wasn't an inspiration for Heinlein's The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress. I do believe Pournelle and Heinlein knew each other.

US Missiles Fired Into Syria

The United States launched dozens of cruise missiles Thursday night at a Syrian airfield in response to what it believes was Syria's use of banned chemical weapons that killed at least 100 people, the U.S. military said. Two U.S. warships in the Mediterranean Sea, the USS Ross and the USS Porter, f...

Look up the vids and pics of the Antifa crowd getting hammered after using mace on pro-Trump marchers in Huntington Beach, it's rich. It's past time the MAGA crowd started fig...

I posted some years ago about a guy with a .410 being charged by a sow grizzly. He fired the gun at contact distance with the bear's snout, he even had some kind of shot shell IIRC. The bear was DRT.

It has nothing to do with literacy the way youre implying with pre and post, more like, buried in the settings is a language selector for the software, so they can ship them anywhere in the world, and not have to do special hardware..
