Traditionally, lawyers were exempt as it was fektbthere was too high a chance of them judging law rather than facts/it was thought they’d carry too much weight inside the jury.

NO ONE will want a law student on a jury. Egads!

There’s precedent that successfully framing someone for a capital crime, was murder. Might be worth it for some machine guns?

Maybe use polygonal rifling? Just thread a hardened section into a normal barrel section?

Not surprised at all. The vast majority of public schooling is a colossal waste of time, energy and resources.

I like Regan but didn't he eliminate OC in CA as governor and ban autos as president?

That Trump has sons who are very active Shooter's/safari hunters probably helps more

This "may" have been more known, at one time. A certain backwoods TX farm boy was heavily recruited by some odd schools. (I grew up down several miles of dirt road, and through the third creek - not over. Getting phone calls seeing if "I had any questions about what its like to be a T...

OK, so wading into a room of cranky toddlers with machine guns... To paraphrase Ron White, "I cannot tell you how many cops it will take to kick your ass, but I can tell you how many they will use." The doctor was deliberately showing his ass. And, his suit will, probably, be against Chica...

Sarin is a bit of a surprise- I wouldn't have thought a state actor would bother with it (it does make sense if Russia took their real chemical weapons and they made it themselves. I would expect any state actor to be able to make sarin.) - and the casualties probably aren't any more than an incendi...

A) Conservatism, which is actually liberalism, has its roots in the Enlightenment. Not... Well, whatever all that Odin worshiping Neo-NAZI silliness is about. It is about freedom, but with that always came a healthy, and strong sense of Duty to society. This is where the old "Posse" stuff ...

Rated bolts, I mean buying grade V or grade VIII bolts from a reputable supply. A power rack is a safety device - meant to stop a falling bar, so there can be a fair amount of force hit the structure. (In my case it was higher weights, but still, envision falling from over head/several feet.) Grade ...

You'd have to have 10' of clearance for my equipment. O lifts , at least for competition should t be more than 6 reps. More than that and, we were told, nerves ran out of enough chemicals to fire fast enough to execute the lifts. A strongman clean and press for lifts was very different than a C&...

OK, so with the caveat that I consider most CrossFit folks pundits, well, just leave that redacted. Its an extra $200 for the Texas Super Strength systems one. I'd look around, and see if you can find a "real" one, used, where you live. Admittedly, I was a super heavy, and I've broken up c...

Re: The Garage Gym Thread

I looked up the T3 rack. How heavy do you plan to lift? That "1000# capacity" is highly questionable on a rack of that weight steel, I think. Also, use at least grade V hardware - we used grade 8, as it didn't seem worth worrying about the cost. My stuff was made by Texas Strength Systems ...

Re: The Garage Gym Thread

First thing to determine is what is your current training like, and what are your goals? If its just "being healthy", I think far more folks are better off doing calisthenics than lifting. (AKA, Gymnasts are pretty well considered in superb shape, and they don't lift.) Hand balances, dips,...

Re: US tests laser weapons?

Physics pretty well says no. A "rod from god" is far more practical, though it would be more destructive, I think, unless quite small. I know that a nuke can destroy a chemical/biological weapons depot, as the thermal front passes the pressure front - is that inherent to being a nuke, or w...

I'd pick your tool bag/kit first - and probably a roller one, as plants can get big in a hurry - then find something that can hold you gear in a tidy fashion.

Will the company be issuing the vehicle?
